Weaning
Around 12 weeks old, kittens can be weaned and separated from their mothers. Mother cats have a different reaction to their increasingly independent offspring than their human counterparts do.
Feline moms may be a little upset or confused at first but will get used to the idea after a few days. They’ll return to everyday routines.
